Description
The Danforth U.S. Inox Anchor is a premium stainless steel boat anchor, designed for reliable anchoring in sand and mud seabeds.
Made from marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel, it offers excellent resistance to rust and saltwater while maintaining its attractive polished finish.
Its classic Danforth design, with two wide pivoting flukes, digs into soft seabeds to provide strong holding power without excessive weight.
Ideal for sailing yachts, motorboats, RIBs and inflatable boats, it is available in six sizes, from 3.6kg to 15kg.

Where Does It Work Best?
The Danforth Inox Anchor performs particularly well on:
- Sand: Excellent grip when the flukes dig into the seabed.
- Mud: Wide flukes provide strong holding power.
- Soft Seabeds: Good penetration and reliable holding when properly set.
Important: Danforth-style anchors are less effective on rocky or heavily weeded seabeds. The recommended boat lengths are general guidelines. Always consider your boat’s weight, weather conditions, seabed and anchoring equipment when choosing an anchor.
