International Woodskin Natural Teak

International Woodskin combines the easy application of an oil with the protection and attractive finish of a marine varnish. Its microporous technology allows the coating to move naturally with the wood while helping repel water and protect the surface.

It can be applied directly to bare wood, including oily hardwoods such as teak when properly cleaned and degreased. No special primer is required, making application straightforward for both maintenance and restoration projects.

A minimum of 3 coats is recommended. Woodskin is applied by brush and does not require sanding between coats, saving time during application. Allow approximately 24 hours between coats.

The Natural Teak colour enhances the character and grain of the wood without creating the heavy appearance of a traditional high-gloss varnish. It is ideal for exterior wooden surfaces on yachts and boats above the waterline.

Important: Previously varnished wood should be stripped back before applying Woodskin. Oily woods such as teak should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased before application. Avoid applying in direct sunlight and follow the recommended drying times between coats.
