It contains no adhesive, bonds to itself when stretched and wrapped, and creates an instant protective seal resistant to water, UV, salt water, fuels and acids.

The Loctite 5075 Insulating & Sealing Wrap is ideal for quick repairs where conventional adhesive tape may not be suitable. It stretches up to three times its original length and fuses to itself, forming a tight and flexible seal without sticking to the surface underneath.

It can be used for flexible hose and pipe repairs, electrical insulation and tool-handle wrapping. Its wide operating temperature range and resistance to harsh conditions make it especially useful for maintenance, marine and workshop applications.
