Owatrol Marine Strip Paint & Coating Remover

The Owatrol Marine Strip is a powerful water-based gel stripper for removing old paint, varnish, stains and antifouling from boats and marine surfaces.

Its thick gel formula stays in place without running and can be rinsed away with water, making stripping easier on wood, metal, plastic and gelcoat.

The Owatrol Marine Strip softens old coatings so they can be removed more easily before repainting or refinishing. It is especially useful on boat hulls, decks and other surfaces where several layers of old coating need to be removed.

The gel stays active for a long time and works on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. After it has worked, the softened coating can be removed and the surface thoroughly rinsed with water.

It is solvent-free, paraffin-free and non-flammable. Marine Strip should not be used on aluminium, oak, chestnut, red cedar or marquetry, and it is not suitable for two-component, epoxy, polyurethane or quick-drying finishes.
