The Wichard FRX Friction Ring is a strong, lightweight alternative to a traditional sailing block, designed for high loads and ropes that move occasionally.

Made from hard-anodized aluminium, it has no moving parts and is suitable for sailing ropes, including Dyneema®.

Ideal for barber haulers, inhaulers, lazy jacks, running backstays and other sailing rigging applications.

Important Information

Choose the correct size according to the working load, rope dimensions and installation requirements.

Friction rings are best suited to high-load applications with limited rope movement, as they create more friction than traditional pulley blocks.
