1 Ply Flat PES Webbing Sling, Endless Grey 120mm, 4tons
€13.70 – €36.31Price range: €13.70 through €36.31
Professional 1-ply endless flat webbing sling made from high-strength polyester (PES) for safe, controlled lifting and handling of heavy loads. With a 120 mm wide bearing surface and a 4,000 kg Working Load Limit (WLL) in a straight lift, it combines high lifting capacity with low weight, flexibility and excellent load-surface protection. The endless-loop construction provides multiple contact points and can be rotated between lifting operations to distribute wear more evenly. Ideal for marine, yacht yard, shipyard, workshop and general industrial lifting applications.
Available in 2 m, 3 m, 4 m, 5 m and 6 m lengths.
When heavy equipment needs to be lifted safely without unnecessarily marking or damaging its surface, a polyester flat webbing sling offers an excellent combination of strength, flexibility and easy handling.
This 1 Ply Flat PES Webbing Sling has an endless-loop design with no fixed lifting eyes. This makes it highly versatile: the contact point between the sling, hook and load can be changed, helping distribute wear instead of repeatedly loading exactly the same section.
With a width of 120 mm, the sling creates a broad contact area against the load. This helps distribute pressure and makes it especially useful when handling machinery, yacht equipment and other components where a narrow chain or wire rope could create concentrated pressure or surface marks.
Its grey colour provides quick identification of its 4 tons nominal lifting capacity according to the standard colour coding used for EN 1492-1 polyester webbing slings.
Why Choose an Endless Webbing Sling?
4,000 kg Working Load Limit
The sling offers a 4 tons / 4,000 kg WLL in a straight lifting configuration, providing serious lifting capacity while remaining much easier to handle and store than many equivalent metal lifting solutions.
Endless Design for Greater Versatility
Unlike a conventional eye-to-eye sling, an endless lifting sling does not have permanently fixed lifting eyes.
The sling can therefore be repositioned and rotated so that the same section does not always become the primary bearing point. Correct rotation can help distribute normal wear over a larger area of the sling.
The endless configuration can also be used in different approved hitch arrangements, depending on the load and lifting plan.
Wide 120 mm Load-Bearing Surface
The 120 mm flat polyester webbing spreads the load over a wider area.
This is particularly valuable when handling painted, coated, polished or otherwise sensitive equipment where reducing concentrated contact pressure is important.
Lightweight and Flexible
Polyester webbing provides high lifting capacity without the weight and stiffness associated with many chain or wire-rope systems.
The sling is therefore:
- Easier to carry and position
- Flexible around different load shapes
- Convenient to store on board, in a workshop or in a service vehicle
- Easier to position in restricted working areas
- Gentle on many finished surfaces
Well Suited to Marine and Yacht-Yard Work
PES webbing is a practical material for professional marine working environments because it is flexible, moisture resistant and easy to handle.
This makes the sling an excellent addition to the lifting equipment used by yacht yards, marinas, refit facilities, marine workshops and service teams.
Typical applications can include lifting or positioning machinery, engines, generators, deck equipment, workshop components, crates and other loads, provided that the correct lifting points, sling configuration and Working Load Limit are observed.
Working Load Limits
The permitted load changes according to the way the sling is used.
| Lifting Configuration | Working Load Limit |
|---|---|
| Straight / Vertical Lift | 4,000 kg |
| Choked Lift | 3,200 kg |
| Basket Lift, near vertical | 8,000 kg |
| Basket Lift, angle 0–45° | 5,600 kg |
| Basket Lift, angle 45–60° | 4,000 kg |
Important: Never select a sling only by its maximum stated capacity. The lifting configuration, sling angle, load geometry, centre of gravity, lifting points and condition of the sling must always be taken into account.

A Surface-Friendly Alternative for Heavy Lifting
One of the main advantages of a flat polyester lifting sling is the combination of heavy-duty lifting performance with a comparatively soft contact surface.
Metal chains and wire ropes remain essential for many lifting operations, but their hard and relatively narrow contact areas may not be appropriate for every load.
The wide 120 mm polyester webbing can provide a better solution for compatible loads where surface protection and pressure distribution are priorities.
This is particularly useful around yachts and marine equipment, where painted, coated or finished components often require careful handling.
Safety & Inspection
Lifting equipment must always be used by competent personnel and according to the sling identification label and applicable lifting procedures.
Before every lift:
- Inspect the complete sling for cuts, tears, damaged stitching, abrasion or excessive wear.
- Check the identification label and verify the permitted WLL.
- Never use a sling with an unreadable identification label.
- Never exceed the Working Load Limit for the chosen lifting configuration.
- Do not knot or intentionally twist the sling.
- Keep the sling away from sharp edges unless suitable edge protection is installed.
- Protect the webbing against excessive abrasion and friction.
- Make sure hooks, shackles and lifting points are compatible with the sling.
- Consider the center of gravity and stability of the load before lifting.
- Remove the sling from service if damage or deterioration is found.
The basket capacity of 8,000 kg does not mean the sling is always suitable for an 8,000 kg load. Capacity depends on the exact lifting arrangement and sling angle.
This product is intended for load lifting and material handling. It is not personal fall-protection or personnel-lifting equipment.
