Kong Harness Target Pro Turbo

The Kong Target Pro Turbo is designed for demanding rescue and professional operations where equipment must be quick to put on, comfortable during movement and suitable for use in challenging environments.

Automatic buckles on the chest and leg loops allow fast fitting and adjustment, which is particularly useful during rescue and heli-rescue operations where preparation time and ease of use are important. Kong uses AISI 316 stainless steel for the buckles to provide high resistance to corrosion.

The harness features wide padded leg loops to improve comfort during suspension, together with an ergonomic, lightweight waist belt. The upper section is also padded, breathable and ergonomically shaped to improve fit without unnecessarily restricting movement.

High-tenacity double-colour polyester webbing makes it easier to visually check that the harness has been fitted correctly, while the fluorescent yellow details improve visibility during operations. Large equipment loops provide space for essential gear without creating excessive bulk.

A large rear handling loop helps with operator movement and positioning during helicopter or ground operations. The upper and lower sections are connected by a short sewn connection lanyard with a contrasting attachment ring, designed for clear identification during use.

According to Kong, the Target Pro Turbo meets the requirements referenced in the EASA ESPN-R Hoist PCDS Guide and is suitable for rescue, heli-rescue and short-duration rope-access applications.

Attachment Points

The harness includes a sternal attachment point certified for fall-arrest use under EN 361 and a ventral attachment point suitable for restraint, positioning and rope-access applications under EN 813.
