Kong Octopus Lifting System for Inflatable Boats

The Kong Octopus is specifically designed for lifting inflatable boats and RIBs aboard yachts, support vessels and other marine applications.

At the centre of the system is an aluminium rigging plate, which brings the lifting legs together into a single upper connection point and helps distribute the load across the system. This makes connection to suitable lifting equipment faster and more organised.

The main sling uses a three-point configuration and can be adjusted to suit different lifting-point positions. The inside leg can be adjusted up to approximately 350 cm, while the two outside legs extend up to approximately 259 cm.

For boats requiring an additional connection, the Octopus includes a fourth-point bridle with approximately 68.5 cm legs, a 45 mm ring and stainless-steel quick-release snap shackles. This allows the lifting arrangement to be adapted to compatible four-point configurations.

Two approximately 46 cm diameter loop straps are also included. These can be used to create suitable connections around components where a dedicated attachment point is not available, provided the selected structure is suitable and approved for lifting.

Constructed from nylon webbing, aluminium alloy and stainless steel, the Kong Octopus is designed specifically for the marine environment and has a Safe Working Load of 500 lb / 227 kg. It is manufactured in Italy.
