How to Use

Position the ruler along the required course line on the nautical chart.

Move the parallel sections across the chart until the ruler reaches a suitable longitude meridian, while maintaining the original course direction.

The corresponding course or bearing can then be read from the integrated degree scale.

The scale provides readings for opposite directions, positioned 180° apart, allowing the navigator to determine the appropriate heading.
