The Wichard MXEvo Friction Block Captive Pin is a compact, high-load friction block designed for demanding yacht and sailing rigging applications.

Its one-piece stainless steel construction, captive high-resistance pin and specially designed rope track provide excellent strength while keeping weight and dimensions low. The retaining leash keeps the pin attached when the block is opened, making rope installation easier and reducing the risk of losing the pin.

Available in 8 mm and 10 mm.

Description

The Wichard MXEvo is a compact, high-load friction block designed for demanding sailing and yacht rigging applications.

Instead of a conventional pulley, the rope runs over a shaped track with guiding fins that help keep it correctly positioned and reduce unnecessary wear.

The captive pin with retaining leash makes installation easier and helps prevent the pin from being lost during rigging work. The block also includes a becket function for use in purchase systems.

Made from 316L stainless steel with a high-strength 17-4 PH stainless steel pin.
