The Wichard 35500 is a strong and practical opening sailing block, designed for ropes up to 18mm.

Its main advantage is that you can open the block and insert a rope without removing it from the sailing system. This makes changing the direction of sheets much easier.

It features a snap shackle for quick attachment and free rotation, allowing the block to follow the direction of the rope.

Directions for Use

Attach the block to a suitable fixing point on the boat using the snap shackle.

Pull the locking pin to open the block, place the rope inside and close it securely.

Make sure the block is properly locked and can rotate freely in the direction of the rope.

The opening design makes it easy to change the rope’s direction without removing the rope from the sailing system.

Important Information

Do not exceed the specified working load of 1,200kg. The breaking load of 2,500kg is not the permitted load for normal use.

Before use, always check that the snap shackle, locking mechanism, rope and attachment point are suitable and securely fastened.
