The Loctite 270 is a high-strength liquid threadlocker for permanently securing and sealing metal bolts, nuts and studs.
It helps prevent threaded connections from loosening due to vibration and shock, making it ideal for demanding mechanical, marine and maintenance applications.
Description
The Loctite 270 cures between closely fitted metal threads to create a strong, reliable lock. It works on metals including steel, stainless steel, aluminium and brass, and can tolerate light traces of protective oils on the surface.
Its high-strength formula is intended for connections that are not expected to be regularly dismantled. When removal is necessary, the joint can be released by heating it to approximately 300°C and disassembling while hot.
