Wichard HR Snap Shackle with Clevis Pin Swivel

Which Size Should You Choose?

70mm – Wichard 2474

The smaller and lighter option, weighing only 71g. Suitable for compatible connections requiring a working load of up to 800kg.

120mm – Wichard 2478

The larger and stronger option, designed for more demanding connections with a working load of up to 2,400kg.

Always choose the size according to the required load, clevis pin diameter and available connection space.

Directions for Use

Attach the shackle to a suitable fitting using the swivel clevis pin connection.

Make sure the clevis pin is correctly secured before use.

To open the snap shackle, pull the release pin. A small lanyard can also be attached to make operation easier.

Check that the shackle closes properly and that the swivel rotates freely.

Important Information

Do not exceed the specified working load:

• 70mm – #2474: 800kg
• 120mm – #2478: 2,400kg

The breaking loads of 1,600kg and 7,000kg are not the permitted loads for normal use.

Before use, check that the clevis pin, release mechanism, attachment points and connected equipment are suitable for your application.

Do not release a loaded connection unless the complete system is specifically designed for that operation and it can be carried out safely.
