The Wichard Self-Locking D Shackle is a premium forged 316L stainless-steel marine shackle designed for strong and secure connections on sailing boats and yachts.
Available in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 14mm, with nautical Working Loads from 600kg to 2,400kg and Breaking Loads up to 8,000kg.
Description
The Wichard D Shackle is a strong and durable stainless steel shackle, designed for secure connections on sailing boats and yachts.
Made from forged 316L stainless steel, it offers excellent strength and corrosion resistance.
The 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm models feature a self-locking pin, which helps prevent accidental loosening caused by vibration.
Its compact D-shaped design makes it ideal for sailing rigging, blocks and other marine fittings.
Available in five sizes from 6mm to 14mm.
Important: The 14mm model is not self-locking.

Important Information
Choose the correct size according to the required working load and connection dimensions.
Do not exceed the specified nautical working load. Breaking load is not the permitted load for normal use.
Always check that the pin is correctly tightened and secured.
The 14mm #1207 does not feature the self-locking mechanism found on the smaller sizes.
